"Once you lose that sense of wonder at being alive, you’re pretty much on the way out"

Biography

I’m interested in using exercise as a means to combat the effects of stress, burnout, prolonged sitting, and workplace pressure. I approach fitness as not just about the body, but equally about the mind. My aim is to have you feeling better about yourself by the time you leave class. You will have to bring the fire and challenge yourself, but I want to make it enjoyable while you do. I truly believe that fitness is meant to be fun so I bring a light-hearted style to my teaching.

My own training is a combination of Pilates, Hot Yoga, Yin Yoga, Body Pump and Body Step, with the occasional run or hike thrown in.

I’m all about the ’80s

I’m also a massive fan of 80s aerobics! Music is one of the greatest joys in my life and I bring that into my classes. If you’re keen for a workout that isn’t set to generic easy listening, or hectic cardio house tracks then come and see me. We rock out to power ballads and 80s classics, and singing along is encouraged! You can expect a friendly face, a great soundtrack, and an energising combination of stretching, mobility, abdominal fire and upper body strengthening. I also love a good side plank so let me help you perfect yours!

Life’s great!

What makes every day GREAT is that no matter what is going on for us we always have the choice to create a small pocket of joy for ourselves. That is one choice that no one can take away from us.
