Consistency over intensity. I’m more interested in the volume of workouts over the months and years rather than the difficulty. This might mean doing lighter sessions or resting when needed, rather than pushing and being forced to rest because of injury or illness.
I’m a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor and I try to tailor my workouts to compliment the sport. This usually looks like improving flexibility and end range strength. I have been working at Mingara for 5 years and teaching yoga here for 4 of those years. I’m currently studying flexibility and try to mix the ancient science with the latest science in my classes and personal training sessions.
